The kitchen nook ...

When I go to a restaurant, I always request to be seated at a booth. I think it's fair to assume most of us do. Why? Because they are spacious, super comfortable and way better than sitting on a straight angled wooden chair for 2 hours! Being comfortably seated is the only thing can can make a great meal even better so why not implement that idea into your own home? Breakfast nooks are casual, relaxing eating areas that are practical in small spaces because they allow you to seat many guests.  If you are thinking about buying or building a banquette, consider including drawers underneath the seating. This way, your banquette will act as a storage unit to hold bulky pans and serving dishes. In order to enhance the comfort factor, make sure to display your favorite collection of printed throw pillows.
