When you first enter
Le Scandinave Spa in Mont-Tremblant, it feels as though you've been granted access into a private zen sanctuary in the middle of an enchanted forest. Speaking is strictly forbidden therefore meditative music and water cascading into eucalyptus scented hot tubs is all that can be heard. Occasionally, you can also make out firewood crackling and logs shifting from one of many fire pit stations... Although the Scandinavian baths, steam rooms, saunas, meditation rooms and Swedish massages were phenomenal, the best part of my experience was by far the environment. I can't think of a better way to admire nature in all of it's winter glory then by sitting in a steaming hot bath. The spa is surrounded by snowy mountains, gigantic pine trees, bare maples and a beautiful frozen lake. Twice a day, food is scattered in the forest and tons of wild deer come by for a visit. I had such an amazing weekend. Needless to say, I am relaxed, re-energized and ready to face the week.
Here are a few of my snap shots.
