Salvaged vintage finds are a great way to add interest and personality into a dull room. To be honest, I had never considered using shutters as a decorative element in my home... until now! I was actually doing some research on vintage suitcases when I fell upon a picture of refurbished shutters being used as a bedboard - I couldn't believe how charming they looked. Turns out, they work in just about any space!
