Since I spent the first half of my day hunting for bargains at my favorite outdoor antique market, I felt compelled to showcase how spectacular vintage items can be in our homes. Antiques not only bring a sense of history to your space, they also add character and an eclectic sense of style. Most of us do our rounds at big box stores such as HomesSense, Target and Ikea but there's something very special about purchasing an item that is a one of. In my mind, antique doesn't mean expensive, it means unique. Vintage pieces can be found at garage sales, flea markets, second-hand shops or even in your grand-mother's attic. With that said, don't be afraid to get creative, you really can't go wrong!
