Holiday Hosting: The Candy Cane Martini...

If you ask me, life is all in the details.

And if you happen to be hosting this Christmas, here's a chic little detail that'll make an impression on all your guests!

To make this cheery, holiday drink which tastes as good as it looks... Here's what you need to do:

Candy Cane Martini:


1 candy cane, crushed, for garnish
2 ounces Strawberry Vodka
4 dashes white Creme de Menthe
2 1/2 ounces of Cranberry Juice
Ice cubes


Place crushed candy canes on a small plate or saucer. Wet the outside rim of a chilled martini glass with water (or lemon). Holding the glass by the stem, rotate the rim to coat with candy.

2. In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, creme de menthe, cranberry juice and ice; shake until well combined. Strain into prepared glass; serve immediately.

For added style, hang a mini candy cane on the rim of the glass!
