A Drool Worthy Ski Lodge in Stowe, Vermont....

I've been admiring this ski lodge since last year and I'm still not over it.  It was originally designed by the folks over at HGTV as part of their Dream Home sweepstakes and some very lucky person won this exclusive mountain-side estate and is now living in it.  I sure hope this person is an avid skier and/or snowboarder or else it's totally going to waste!!!

The exterior was inspired by resort architecture, namely Adirondack Great Camps.

In the basement, a "ski dorm" furnished with 8 bunk beds connects to this spectacular bathroom:

Adjacent to the ski dorm is the main living room and dry bar:

This barn door makes me drool...wow

Don't mistake this for the master bedroom.  This one's for the guests:

And so is this bathroom:

The back yard is not too shabby either!

Industrial kitchen:

The living room on the main level is a little on the colourful side but it works.  Check out the size of those windows!!!

  1. If a person, who is quite far away from home, gets to enjoy the same facilities and comforts as he enjoys at his home, then he is bound to become attached to the place.
